If you’ve ever considered installing Crimsafe screens, you’ll have seen there there are a few different options for you to choose from. The type of screen you choose is very dependent on your area and the type of protection you are looking for from your home. Let’s take a look at the various Crimsafe screens you can have installed on your Gold Coast home.

Crimsafe Regular

The regular Crimsafe range is the product you’ve come to know well. It will keep out intruders and insects, and allows some great air flow and breezes which means your home is kept much cooler in summer. These screens also help protect against hailstones and any debris that is blown around during storms. Because Crimsafe is tough, it doesn’t require bars or grilles which allows you to keep any views you have, and opens up your home.

Crimsafe Ultimate

Crimsafe Ultimate screens are 40% stronger than the regular Crimsafe screens and seven times stronger than the impact level that is required to be met by the Australian Standard. There are a few main differences between the standard and the Ultimate product:

  • Ultimate is stronger than the Regular range
  • Ultimate features a clip-on cover that hides any screws from view, creating a smooth aesthetic
  • Ultimate has twice as many tamper-resistant screws which fastens the mesh to the frame at more frequent intervals
  • Ultimate features a slightly wider frame

Crimsafe iQ

The Crimsafe iQ range is the first in the Crimsafe products to incorporate smart technology. You can choose between a mechanical (iQ-m) or electronic (iQ-e) option.

iQ-m features five individual locking modules, with ten point locking and a mechanical key lock. The iQ-e range features three lock modules with six point locking and electronic access via pin code, Bluetooth or key fob.

The Crimsafe iQ range still has all the regular security features found in Crimsafe products.
